Noong opening ng IBM office sa UP technohub, guest of honor si President Noynoy kung saan inendorse pa niya sa mga UP students na magtrabaho sa IBM dahil isa itong prestihiyosong kumpanya. Prestihiyoso???!! Pwe!! Wala na yatang mas balasubas pa sa call center na to.
Nagresign ako sa IBM dahil sa salary dispute. Naranasan kong di paswelduhin ng isang cut-off at apat na cut-off na may malaking bawas sa sweldo. The amount of salary not given to me is estimated to be at P30,000. Tuwing nagrereklamo ako, sasabihin sakin ng payroll na magfile ako dispute claim sa aming SME at Operations Manager, which i did--five times already. Pero walang nangyayari. tuwing hihingi ako ng update sa aking claim, sasabihin sakin magfile uli ako ng dispute para ma-process nila, Paulit-ulit na ganon hanggang pakiramdam ko eh niloloko na lang nila ako. I resigned.
When i followed up on my Back-Pay, it took them more than six months to process. I was sending emails monthly, and was constantly calling them to follow-up on my dispute claims. To make sure that it will be given with my backpay, i filed another dispute claim with my former SME and operations manager (the sixth time i filed such claim)
When the backpay was finally given this afternoon, i was so frustrated with IBM. I was given a meager P4,500. They denied the P30,000 salary dispute despite all my documentations that i did not receive my whole salary for a certain cut-off period and the unexplained deductions from my salary for 4 different cut-offs. They were telling me to file another dispute claim dahil wala daw sa mga na-process nila ang ANIM na claims na finile ko at inemail ko pa ng paulit-ulit sa payroll nila. Napakabalasubas ng IBM na to. Di pa ako nakakita ng kagayang kumpanya sa punong-puno ng mga incompetent at sinungaling at walang pakundangang tao. Hindi lang ako ang may reklamo. maraming humihingi ng backpay kanina ang galit na galit dahil sa halip na may matanggap, ay sinasabi ng IBM na sila pa raw ang may utang sa kumpanya.
May mas balasubas pa ba sa IBM?

Yep this is true, im also a resigned employee of IBM and grabe talaga ang payroll nila am pangit sobra....backpay aabutin ng ilang buwan hanggang ngaun hindi ko pa nakukuha backpay ko......

IBM REALLY SUCKS! THEY HAVE PENDING CASE FROM DOLEE FOR DISPUTES AND OVERTIME NOT PAID. THEY WILL HAVE 9.5HOURS ON YOUR CONTRACT WHICH STATES INCLUDING 1HOUR BREAK AND OVERTIME BUT THEN NO PAYMENT FOR THE 30MINS OT. TAMA BA YUN! MANGUGULANG YANG MGA YAN. I ONE RESIGN BEC OF DISPUTES, MIND YOU DISPUTES NOT ONLY DISPUTE. ALSO SOBRA BOBO MGA PAYROLL AND EVEN MANAGEMENT JAN BULOK! KAYA KUNG AKO SA INYO NA NAGBABALAK WAG NA. I have heard those kinds of concerns. I work at IBM but until now, I haven't encountered that kind of concern- (dispute na hindi na-claim). Dispute? Yes I also have that but my Team Leader is very hardworking. He processed that easily and I actually received my dispute after next cut-off.
All of the companies are not perfect in terms of payroll. For IBM-Daksh. Imagine, sa India pa manggagaling ang mga info na yan. Dapat may sanction din sa kanila kapag nagkakamali sila. ;p

I worked for IBM for a almost two years when I resigned way back 2006, I was so disappointed for they did not pay my last week with them, imagine my backpay was only 4500... I was one of the pioneer it was daksh then became IBM but even as a pioneer they were not able to pay me correctly... A lot of disputes working with them is full of stress and yes they did not pay me right.

wag kaung maniwala sa nga paninira na yan! be part on the company and you will prove na hindi totoo ang mga sinasabi or pino-post nila.

IBM really sucks!!! tatanggalin ka nlng nila jan ng walang kalaban laban. especially kapag mababa ang stats mo... I was one of the victims of that company. I also experienced the disputes in salary. Actually there was a time wherein I did not receive my salary in one cut off. Then it wasn't credited back to me.Every cut off my disputes ako sa salary.
Backpay ko sobrang tagal bago ibigay baka nga hanggang backpay ko puro dipsutes pa... Until now wala padin... NGANGA!!!
oh well. just to inform you, 4 entities carry the name of IBM, sa daksh lang siguro yan, and i dont think sa IBM lang nangyayari yan. pero funny pa din, haha. regardless, eh nasa call center kayo eh, ganyan talaga
kung my issues kau sa payroll, backpays etc at dinedeny ng HR or dinidelay, DOLE nyo na kung my sapat na documentation nman kau to support ur claim at ndi ung saan-saang blog kau ngumangawa eh wala nman mabuting maiddulot yan at d nyo mkkuha disputes nyo sa ganong praan. Lahat ng companya hndi naiiwasan my dispute.
I've veen working with IBM Philippines for 2 years.
I admit we have disputes. I personally experienced that. The payroll department is located in India. But it depends upon your TL. The next payout, I received it.
Actually you have to be responsible for your time in/out. Usually, I got disputes because I logged in twice or I forgot/ mistakenly put a wrong time when filing my OTs. Those are the reasons.
To be honest, of all the companies I've worked for, IBM has given me a stress free environment with VERY GOOD training compared sa mga previous jobs ko.
And this year, I would like to inform you taht they made the benefits better than before.
1. Call canter is entitled for 14th month pay
2. medicine and reading glass reimbursement
3. Healthcard (Php150,000 per illness)
4. Company loan / Emergency loan
When you get hired on the first day, you are entitled to use your VL or SL as well as the healthcard/dental.
Nasa leadership siguro ang problema. But my account, I can say all is great. Even the OM.
Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites are restricted. You are in IBM to work not to surf the net and update your FB profile and everything.

Puro disputes, 66 na full shifts RDOT's ( restday overtime) and di binayaran sa akin ng mga bumbay na yan. ngaun wla nko may demand letter aq natanggap. May utang daw aq sa knila kse nag overpayment daw cla sa akin. Ganun? Bobo pla ng payroll nila? Overpayment daw eh di aq binayaran ng 6 na disputes ko? Di pa ksama dyan yung absent kuno every cut-off. Guys, ganda tlga name ng IBM.And I believe that the bosses in the US does not know what has been happening dito sa pinas.
Hi. This is just to powerfully attest all of what's about on IBM as an employee with only 6 months of stay. ONLY 6 months, but with that working time span, there's no month excluding my first pay out which was released 1 month after our start date, there is no month, I repeat, no month that I had no deductions. It ranges to P3500-4000 every payroll. Imagine that! I never imagined my first job in a bpo industry would eventually turned out to be like this. Just like those other stories, we've been raising disputes over and over again, to accumulate it all in our whole wave, it'c countless. All they were saying is 'FILE IT UP AGAIN FOR REPROCESSING' and everything is just getting worse. I resigned, file my clearance immediately and waited for my backpay which turns out to be negative!!! Punyeta na talaga. Ako pa nagkautang?! Like what kind of people are you? BALASUBAS! UGH!!!! All those bullshits are immeasurable. And some people suggesting to file this case to DOLE and got mad to those people who'd experienced it all? Seriously, aren't you thinking? Are those people like me, can afford the troublesome and all? Anyone can walk up to DOLE, let them raise their cases and all, Its free of access but not free for all the processes, fees and the troublesome that would double.
